I turn into a giggling teenage girl when I see pics of this lovely couple. No joke. Quite embarrassing, actually.
The happy couple will be getting married at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Windsor Castle in November. I thought it would be fun to show you guys around the castle grounds and future wedding venue.
Before you arrive at the castle, you first drive through the expansive and stunning castle grounds.
The very long, very beautiful walking path that leads to Windsor Castle. I could spend hours here daydreaming about a handsome prince 😉
You walk through a cute town on your way to the castle. I LOVED this place. Lot’s of shops, cafes, and sights.
The entrance gates.
The beautiful grounds make it very hard not to smile 🙂
A beautiful enclosed garden and seating area that overlooks the castle.
Looking down the courtyard, just past the entrance gates, with a look at St. George’s Chapel.
Magnificent close-up of the exterior of Windsor Castle.
The walkway to the Queen’s apartments.
Lush vegetation adjacent to the path.
Now for a glimpse inside the castle…
Many of the front rooms are decorated with historic weaponry. I was taken aback, at first, but it really is stunning and unique.
Even the ceilings are elegant and ornate.
Will the rehearsal dinner take place in this room?
By far my favorite room in the castle!
I believe this is Queen Victoria (P.s. I may or may not be obsessed with the show Victoria).
A closer view of St. George’s chapel.
Security was pretty tight and impeccably dressed.
This might be as close as I can get to Ms. Markle and Prince Harry.
God Bless the happy couple 🙂
